Haven't been online for a while lately. So here's a long update, for those who have a lot of time to read anyway, hehehe...

THURSDAY, November 25

Mish and I had wanted to go to CCP to go bike riding for the longest time, but the weather never wanted to cooperate with us. We managed to get Rain and Nicco to join us, but Drei was hung up on playing Dragonball on the PS2. It took quite some time to pry him off the game, and by the time we did and on our way to CCP, the sun was already setting. But that didn't stop us, hahaha. We still managed to rent bikes for at least and hour and went around even though it was already dark.

FRIDAY, November 26

Woke up early to go with the cast and crew of Garahe at their shoot. Picked up Mish at her dorm and then waited for the others in front of CSB. I even found Rosa walking to get a ride to her review classes. Took a cab with Mish, Miko, Ting and Eika to Camille's house and found some of the others were already there.

They first had to shoot this scene where Caloy (Nicco) gets slapped in the face by Rita (Mish). Wahahaha, Nicco first got a sample from Lye, and then about a handful of slaps square in the face from Mish during the takes. Then we moved to Camille's cousin's house on the other street for a few more scenes between Rita and Caloy. Nikki arrived from school then and hung around with us. Lunch break at Chowking after that, and then back to the house.

Hahahaha, Miko and Rian gave me this cameo role in the film. I was just sitting there on the living room floor when I heard Rian mention my name. I had to play someone who bursts into Caloy's kitchen and tells him that Tsyong had an accident. Had to borrow one of Nicco's shirts for this and ew, my voice sounded so squeaky, hahahaha. "Caloy! Si Tsyong naaksidente!"

Of course, one of our favorite things to do there was to go to the ihawan for our fix of isaw. Mmmm... Hahaha, that was supposed to be Rain's purpose of going with us, but as it turned out, he didn't get to wake up in the morning so he didn't get to join us. But of course, Nikki, Mish and I just can't resist being there and not eating any, hehehe.

The last scene that they shot was when Caloy had come from a funeral. So of course, this is Nicco's hagulgol moment. I just had to see how he does this uber-emotional scene. Nicco, bow ako sa iyo. Impressive, even without the tears. By the way, if you're reshooting this scene, here's a tip. Remember your episode when we were on our way home that night? Try using sense-memory. 'Nuff said.

SATURDAY, November 27

Well, this day was pretty eventful, in a way. Their location for the day was Rian's house, and once again, Nikki and I went with them, hahaha.

Here's something. While we were walking down the street to Rian's house, Nikki and I were enjoying the cool morning wind, but Son said something about negative vibes. Negative? Read on and you'll find out.

To make this entry a little more interesting, I've added photos.

Ferson and Nicco already in costume as Tsyong and Caloy.
Hahaha, there's Nikki, spraying Nicco with water to make him look sweaty.

Mish just bought taho from a passing vendor.
And on standby is Lye the clapper/continuity girl.

Getting ready for a take of a scene where Tsyong trains Caloy.
Miko and Drei behind the camera, Nicco and Son ready for the take, and Ann (yes, the one with a towel on her head) with the clapper.

Taho anyone?
Nikki and I, resident Garahe groupies, hahaha.

"Clean up your own mess!"
Hahaha, that's Rian disposing the empty taho cups.

A shot of Drei filming Nicco as Caloy jogging down the street.

Shooting a scene where Caloy does push-ups effortlessly.

Did Miko like the last take?
Maybe another cup of taho will help his decision.

Stolen shot by Mish of Nikki (caught by surprise) and me (reading the script).

Another shot by Mish of Drei, the cameraman, in between takes.

Nicco queries Miko concerning the next scene to be shot.
Man, the sun is uber hot that day.

Tsyong and Mr. Arce (equipped with a cigar).

And where is Rian off to with all those bags?
Wala lang. Oh yeah, now he's dressed as Guster the boxer.

Drei (still as Mr. Arce), Ting and Ann.

This looks like a beauty parlor.
But why in the world does the pedicurist look like he's about to bite off Camille's entire leg?
Hahaha, while the others are shooting a scene outside, Ting, Camille and Lye (behind Son) browse through the interior design magazines.

The epitome of comatose, hahaha.
Nikki and Mish, taking a short nap while the crew shoots a scene at a nearby basketball court.

OK, enough pictures for now.

After a late lunch, everyone packed up and got dressed in black, to prepare for the funeral scene, to be shot at the South Cemetery. Hailed two cabs, put all the stuff in the first cab with Miko, Camille, Lye, Ann and Ting, and then Drei, Son, Mish, Nikki and I piled up in the other. Nicco went ahead in another car with Rian so he can show us where to shoot inside the cemetery.

It took us a while to get there because Nicco was on foot by the time we got inside the cemetery. Halfway inside, Miko got off the first cab and walked with Nicco. By the time we reached the location, everyone poured out of the cabs and checked it out. While everyone started talking about how to go about the scene, Drei suddenly asked Miko where his camera was. That's when we found out it was missing. As it turned out, the camera was forgotten in the cab they were in! Gak, and to think that all the tapes, all the coverage shot, were also in there as well. Waaaah... even I felt so disconcerted with what happened. I mean, a lot of hard work, time, sweat and tears have been poured out for this entire project.

Miko, Nicco and Drei went off to the cemetery entrance in hopes of finding anyone who managed to notice the cab the camera was in, but to no avail. Then finally most of the group (Miko, Camille, Nicco, Son, Mish, Nikki and I stayed) decided to go back to Rian's house to call radio stations, just in case the cab driver was tuned in (they remembered that the cab had the radio on). After a while, we then went back to Rian's house as well.

Found Miko telling them about a new concept he came up with while he was still in the cemetery. Rian also gave his own input, which was a mock documentary of everything that had happened so far. Finally, as a group, they decided to hold a meeting in the living room. Meanwhile, Mish, Son, Nikki and I went off somewhere in search of isaw, hahaha. When we found one, we ordered at least twice, hehehe.

The group finally decided to reshoot the whole thing again, with Drei's camera (which also had a few shots of some scenes). And it was going to take the whole night, until morning. And then I ended up playing a different cameo role that night, as Rita's yaya, hahaha. The yaya was played by Eika before, and she was supposed to be uber NR, but because she wasn't around, some of them suggested I do it. But I was so smiley, they decided to change the character into this uber-smiley girl. Shot a scene with Mish in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and I couldn't help laughing at my own expression, hahaha. I had to borrow a shirt and apron from Rian, too. Hahaha, the apron was bright green, so I looked like a Starbucks employee.

Anyway, this entry's getting too long, so I'm out for now.
